Approval System

The approval system allows you to create different levels of permissions with your content. Especially useful for large organisations where everyone can be involved in creating content, but only a small number of people maintain consistencey and accountability.

Your contributors will be able to create and edit content as normal, using a combination of unpublished, and temporary copies of pages. Items can still be modified and go through numerous rounds of amends without effecting live content on the front end of your website.

It is then up to your administrators or moderators to go through the approval list, and action each piece of content that has been flagged up. Items can be approved, which will publish the content to your site. They can also be rejected which will mean the content remains unpublished but is flagged to be re-modified.

Engine's handy notes system also allows dialogue between all parties involved, so reasons and instructions can be given to aid your team members to easily and efficiently converse without having to be on neighbouring desks, in the same building, or even the same country!

Ensure new and edited content is moderated and approved before publication
