The Big Bang website

Melon recently saw the success of The Big Bang conference and exhibition, which took place at Lane End Conference Centre in High Wycombe.

The free one-day event was organised by the Innovation and Growth Team for Buckinghamshire and Milton Keynes, and was aimed solely at high-growth businesses in and around the area.

It gave the opportunity for leaders of high growth businesses to attend a series of workshops led by inspirational industry professionals and network with like-minded businesses. The day was filled with keynote speeches, discussion forums, workshops, one-to-one advisory sessions, networking opportunities and an exhibition area showcasing companies that were recognised to add real value to any business.

With over 150 regional high growth business registered to attend, The Big Bang is one of a few networking and motivational events in this area. Melon had the privilege to be part of this, not only in creating the website and support materials around the event, but by also taking part as an exhibitor, demonstrating our services in Brand, Print and Web plus showcasing Engine, our own Content Management System. This gave us the opportunity to demonstrate the unique benefits Engines has to offer and illustrate how we provide businesses with integrated campaigns based around Engine and Engine’s e-marketing tools, and how this platform has been developed to support marketing campaigns for any type of organisation.

The event proved a complete success for everyone involved. The delegates and exhibitors in attendance found it beneficial from all aspects of the day – we hope that this success can be the basis of supporting more events like The Big Bang in the not too distant future!
